Texture

Since I came to Melbourne, I’m really impressed about trees in Dandenong renegers or even roadside trees near my home. As I grew up in Tokyo, I haven’t seen such a big and tall trees in my hometown in Japan. I’m also quite interested in the texture of their skins. Rough, lumpy, slippery and spiky ... I easily find many different texture. I wonder why and how nature makes such different texture? Texture gives Ikebana as unique expression or can a be part of focal point.
